  7. The simple system

Most coaches don’t struggle with knowledge. They struggle with time. You know your topic inside out, but turning it into posts week after week can feel like a second job. The good news: consistency doesn’t mean posting every day. It means showing up on a rhythm your audience can rely on, and that you can actually keep.

1. Pick a rhythm you can sustain for three months

Before you think about content, decide on a schedule you could keep even in a busy month. For many coaches that’s three posts a week on one main platform. A steady, realistic rhythm builds trust far better than a burst of daily posts followed by weeks of silence.

2. Build your content around a few pillars

Content pillars are the three to five themes you want to be known for. For a career coach, that might be interviews, confidence, salary conversations and career change. Pillars stop you from starting every week with a blank page, and they make your profile easier to understand at a glance.

  • Teach: practical tips your audience can use today.
  • Show: behind-the-scenes of how you work.
  • Prove: lessons from client situations (shared with permission and without private details).
  • Invite: a clear next step, like booking a call or joining your list.

3. Batch your ideas once a month

Set aside one session a month to plan. List the questions your clients ask most often, then map them to your pillars. Each question can become a post, a carousel or a short video. When you sit down to create, you’re filling in a plan rather than inventing from scratch.

4. Record once, publish many times

A single 20-minute recording of you answering client questions can become several Reels, a carousel, a quote graphic and a LinkedIn post. This is content repurposing, and it’s the most reliable way to stay consistent without spending every evening creating.

You don’t need more ideas. You need to get more from the ideas you already have.

5. Schedule ahead and protect your time

Use a scheduling tool so posts go out on time even when your week gets busy. Then give yourself short, fixed windows to reply to comments and messages. Consistency in conversation matters as much as consistency in posting.

6. Review monthly, not daily

Checking numbers every day leads to reactive decisions. Once a month, look at which posts led to saves, shares, messages and enquiries. Do more of what starts conversations and drop what doesn’t.

The simple system

  1. Choose a sustainable posting rhythm.
  2. Define three to five content pillars.
  3. Plan a month of ideas in one session.
  4. Record once and repurpose into several formats.
  5. Schedule ahead and review monthly.

If you’d rather spend your time coaching than planning, editing and scheduling, that’s exactly what we help with. We build and run this system around your voice, and nothing goes live without your approval.
